In an email to Jim Turner on the 5th of December 2018, I suggested that the introduction of a Content Management System (CMS) to TSSG could be done by the following Epic and User Stories.  This triggered a Drupal Proof of Concept (POC) user story by Ralph.  Here is the body of the email;

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you consider today’s conversation I would like to suggest the following structure of US.  The tasks for the US would be determined by the teams.  The “new TSSG General meeting information” represents all the fields needed for an entry in the schedule.  I know we discussed other content but I suggest we start with specific example.  The CMS we discussed was Drupal.

Personas:

  • TSSG management member (this can be me and Andy)
  • TSSG Web team member (anyone on your team)
  • TSSG DevOps member (Anyone on Ralph’s team)

EPIC: As a TSSG management member, I would like to load the information onto the TSSG.tech website without writing any code.

I know I am done when;

  1. I can enter information for an new TSSG general meeting, Testimonials, Sub-team Descriptions, etc.
  2. The TSSG.tech web site displays the information that was entered.

US: As a TSSG management member, I would like to load the information for a new TSSG General meeting onto the TSSG.tech website without writing any code.

I know I am done when;

  1. I can enter the schedule information for an new TSSG general meeting
  2. The TSSG.tech web site displays the schedule information for an new TSSG general meeting

US: As a TSSG Web team member, I would like the TSSG.tech web site to have access to the new TSSG General meeting information from a Content Management System (CMS).  I know I am done when the TSSG.tech web site displays the new TSSG General meeting information.

US: As a TSSG DevOps member, I would like to implement a Content Management Systems (CMS) so that the information for the new TSSG General meeting can be kept there.

I know I am done when;

    1. The TSSG management member (stakeholder) can enter the new TSSG General meeting information into a CMS
    2. The TSSG Web team can retrieve the new TSSG General meeting information.
