Monday, September 3, 2018, is the Labor Day holiday. As such, the group has decided that there will not be a web group zoom meeting that day.

weekly standup - not much significant action to report for the week.

Jim Turner - now has admin privs to the JIRA and Confluence sites.  This led to the actions in the next item, regarding establishing (or attempting to establish) a "spike" in JIRA for the tssg.tech design work.

A majority of the meeting time was spent reviewing Jim Drewniak's article "Spikes in JIRA" and attempting to add a spike to the current website project for design of the next version of tssg.tech. There are some kinks to be worked out, such as being able to add this spike item to a board.

Lora presented some changes that were made to the on-boarding document for TSSG showing the addition of the devops group on page 1 and 2 - also added the tssg-devops@googlegroups email.

When reviewing TWS-50, Lora clarified that, as discussed early in the project, the purpose of the group is not to sell product or services but to inform; we need to stay away from "sales gush" (a term Joel used back when - very appropriate in our case). Lora gave an overview of the changes and sent the on-boarding document out to the tssg-web@googlegroups.com email for everyone's perusal.

A potentially helpful aside for using Zoom to have multiple screenshares was looked up and provided by Paul Scheidemantel. at this Zoom support link.   It's a switch that must be turned on by the host; Ralph A. Navarro Jr. as the meeting owner could tweak to make screen sharing easier?
