Jim D. had a conversation related to using facetime for a phone interview.
Norm is supplying an update (in confluence) to the Data Analytics info on the web site.
Discussed the remaining 4 Jira sub-tasks of the Web development group design spike. Expect to close the design spike and start the next sprint at the Monday meeting.
Mark: Mobile development group
Continued working with Flutter; He's considering building a CustoMac Hackintosh for iOS development - see tonymacx86.com
https://www.twitch.tv/ibmdeveloper has results of the 24 hour call for code.
Ray's son is working on this...
d-wave 2000q quantum annealing
It's a metaheuristic for finding the global minimum of a given objective function over a given set of candidate solutions, by a process using quantum fluctuations. Quantum annealing is used mainly for problems where the search space is discrete with many local minima; such as finding the ground state of a spin glass.
Global minimum is a typical optimization in Machine Language.
Richard Feynman said if you want to predict particles - you should use quantum methods - because thats what everythings are made of. qubit technology requires alot of error correction.
Norm has something written for Confluence on how to get up-to-speed on working with the Data Analytics group. Drew will help move it to the correct place in Confluence.
There are a few learning spots at www.kaggle.com/learn
python, pandas library, machine-learning...
Jim and Drew discussed what could be an optimal setup of sub-group information on Confluence.
